    A road show in Chile

When a country is 5,000 kilometers long, you have to be creative to get to know who your customers are from north to south. Schneider Electric in Chile this year developed specialized, easy-to-transport training cases in the area of low-voltage electrical distribution and industrial control and automation.
This is how the country's fifteen main cities will experience the mobile Technical Center during the year 2003. In each city, a team of Schneider Electric engineers relays duties during two days to head up these special moments with their customers, having them become familiar with and handle all Merlin Gerin, Telemecanique and Square D products practically at home.
At the end of the day, installers, panel-builders and end-users will thus have PC-based motor-starter applications, PLCs, variable-speed drives, man-machine dialogue terminals, and the complete lineup of low-voltage products all wired, programmed and started up.
