Schneider Electric sister company in Australia sponsored the 2002 AEEMA (Australian Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association) National Conference and exhibition, held in Melbourne last October.
An outstanding success for the Australian team, who chose to support AEEMA’s aim of focusing industry attention for « cleaner, greener, smarter » practices.

Schneider Electric in Australia participated in the largest high technology engineering event – Austronics, Automate and Electrix 2002 Exhibition attracting 266 exhibitors and 10,000+ key buyers, specifiers and decision-makers from the electronic, manufacturing, process and electrical industries.
The 72m2 stand showcased the Australian launch of e.BOS (electronic Building Operating System) and focused on smart technologies and products for the domestic, commercial and industrial building sectors.
e.BOS allows users to automate their homes and buildings for increased comfort and security, taking the concept of intelligent buildings to new heights. The system is successfully operating in hundreds of domestic, commercial and industrial buildings in New Zealand, including; New Zealand’s Parliament House, Wellington Royal & Sun Alliance, Connector Systems Ltd and the Contemporary Art Museum.
