Export success in Australia
Australian electrical engineering and contracting firm Tanis has made its largest sale to date of the NEXvmc switchgear which it manufactures under a partnership with Schneider Electric.
The 20-panels 6.6kV 50Hz switchboard was manufactured to a Schneider Electric design and pre-assembled and tested at Tanis’ plant in Kewdale, Western Australia.
The switchboard is destined for the North Mara Gold Mine in Tanzania. It brings the number of NEX panels Tanis has sold in its first year of manufacturing to 50.
Tanis is the first company in the world to manufacture Schneider Electric’s NEX switchgear under license, and specified this switchgear for the North Mara project.
