A government minister visits Schneider Electric France
On August 28, the Rueil-Gare site in France welcomed Jean-Luc Mélanchon, Minister of Professional Education, to its brand new Schneider Training Institute (ISF) facility. The Minister wanted to meet teachers who, during their summer vacation, were voluntarily following industrial training courses at the world leader in power and control.
The National Ministry of Education offers these courses, funded by the National Education Agency, through the CERPET organization (Research Center for the Pedagogical Renewal of Technical Education). They are put on by manufacturers such as PSA Peugeot Citroën, SNECMA, Legrand, Crouzet, Carrefour, Accor... and of course Schneider Electric through the ISF, its training center.
The objective of these courses is to complete teachers' pedagogical approach with real-world industrial experience so that students are better prepared for their professional career. In this regard, it should be noted that these courses are not designed specifically for educators, but rather are identical to the courses followed by Schneider Electric’s clients and involve Merlin Gerin, Modicon, NUM and Telemecanique brand products.
