    Schneider Electric Poland acquires EMIT Transformers

    Schneider Electric’s Polish subsidiary has acquired EMIT Transformers, which manufactures and sells MV/LV dry-type and oil-filled distribution transformers. Based in Zychlin, 100 km from Warsaw, EMIT has around 100 employees and sales of some EUR 5 million. «EMIT has a very solid presence in the local market,» notes Gilles Revellin, head of Schneider Electric Poland. «This acquisition will enhance our medium and low voltage line up in the electric power and building markets.»
