In France, two new ISO 14001 certified sites
Two Schneider Electric sites located in Grenoble (France), the J and DGS plants (cutting, electroplating and welding) have just been ISO 14001 certified.
The two new ISO 14001 certifications are a result of these production units' commitment to preserving the environment in all areas of their activity. They not only involved changing manufacturing processes, but also reducing and recycling waste. They also provided the effective recognition of staff involvement in this approach.
These two new certifications now raise the total number of certified company sites to 70 and reflect Schneider Electric's commitment to continuing this action, which was initiated in 1996.
