Tego Power wins the innovation prize at the Intel trade fair
Telemecanique brand Tego Power won recognition thanks to its modular features, scalability and ease of implementation. All together, 200 products were presented and competed in several categories (innovation, technology, etc.). The Intel trade fair (Milan, Italy) was held from May 18 to 22 and was mainly addressed at machinery manufacturers (OEMs), contractors and engineering firms. Schneider Electric was present at the show with a 3,250 square meter stand at which 7,000 visitors were received. Showcase events included "mini training courses" in Nano and Micro PLCs and demonstrations of Telemecanique brand TegoDial and Tego Power offerings. The Telemecanique brand Harmony line was also highlighted via a "light tunnel".
Telemecanique’s Tego Power: fast, easy implementation
The Tego Power solution for building motor starters is based on an innovative concept that combines simplicity, standardization and flexibility. Tego Power Design software enables easy configuring and last-minute adjustment without any risk of error. In addition, Telemecanique GV2 circuit breakers and series D and K contactors can be rapidly assembled using prefabricated connecting devices. As a result, motor starters are connected instead of hard-wired. They are assembled on mounting plates designed for quick starter replacement to reduce machine downtime and maintenance errors. The motor starters are easily connected to PLCs or main communication buses via couplers.
